With 20+ years of experience as a professional artist, I instruct this course from the perspective of experience and intuition, making the course accessible to individuals who are beginning their journey as Photographers. Foto Fundamentals is a 5-week online or in-person class, one day per week. You learn the base foundations that are taught in universities and community colleges, without the institutional fees. Here's what's included:

• Private instruction, 3 hours per class

• Learning how to shoot in manual mode

• How to maneuver your body while shooting

• Learning select language of photography

• Understanding Lighting & Composition

• Discussions on Ideation & Creative Process

If you're interested in a longer course or a one-day intensive or a fun group (up to 5 people) learning experience, those are class options as well. Here's what you'll need for any class structure you choose:

• Digital Camera with at least one lens

• Memory card(s) (starting off with one memory card is okay)

• Up-to-date computer operating system and reliable internet access

• Photography software (to download and review images)

• Course(s) must be scheduled within 21 days of purchase

• Schedule is agreed upon by janet and client. Agreed schedule for course(s) can only be rescheduled once, and can not extend 14 days pass initial agreed upon schedule.

Rate for the 5-week course is $1,435.00. A non-refundable deposit of $400 is due on booking class, and the remainder payment is due one-week before session begins. Inquire for longer courses, one-day intensives, and group class rates.
